WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Book Your Session

Email or call me (205) 706-6027 and we can talk about what you are wanting from your photography session so I can give you these session details and pricing information.

We can schedule an in-person meeting or do the details over the phone. This is when we can discuss your goals and ideas for the session, the products you are invisioning, the session location, clothing (outfits), answer questions, and create a plan that is just for you. We will select a date and time for your session. Your session fee is due at the time we book your date, this is what holds your session date on my calendar. I will send you a credit card link to you to pay for your session. I do not hold dates in my calendar till the session fee is paid.

I will send you a Client Registration/Model Release agreement in an email and all you have to do is click on the link and fill out the form. It will automaticaly come back to me. This further helps me in planning for your upcoming session. I can not do your photography session till this is signed so make sure you sign it.

2. Book Your Viewing/Ordering Session

I will send you upcoming dates to choose from for your in-person  Viewing/Ordering session appointment to see your edited images from your photography session. These will occur 1 to 2 weeks after your session date. You will send me back an email with your preference for your appointment and I will confirm it with you.

3. Your Portrait Photography Session

This is a fun experience and I am a fast shooter. I will help you this day with any last minute decision and clothing decisions so you can enjoy being photographed:)

4. Your Viewing/Ordering Session

Come to my home based business with all decision makers and see Your gorgeous slide show on my large computer screen of all the best images from your session for your in-person viewing/Ordering appointment. I will help you select the very best images and display options. All final orders will be placed at this appointment. I do not put the images on line. I accept checks, MC and Visa. A 50% deposit is required on orders placed.

5. Pick up Your Custom Made Order

In approximately 3-4 weeks I will send you an email that your custom order is ready for pick up. When you pick it up you can pay by check any remaining balance on your order.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Do you offer different types of sessions?

Yes, Depending on the type of session you desire (senior, family, pet or Corporate and personal branding, or other)  I will custom design the best type of session for your needs. I offer location, In-Studio, and my outdoors or a combination. These are usually scheduled Monday-Thursday from 8:00-6:00. I also offer Weekend (Friday-Sunday) and Holiday session dates for an additional charge.

Is there a minimum purchase requirement?

No, it's totally up to you what you would like to order at your in-person Viewing/Ordering appointment. Custom images and artwork are available a la 'carte, or in Collections. All custom products and digital files are purchased separately from the session fee. Collections start at $699.

How long do you keep my files?

Non-ordered images will be removed from our viewing system following your ordering appointment. I do not archive or save any unordered files. All ordered and paid for images are archived for a period of up to 1 year.

When do I pay for my session and what is included?

100% of your session fee is required at the time of booking your session. This session fee payment is the only way to hold your session in my calendar. The session fee covers my time and talent to create and make your photography session. It also includes the consultation and Viewing/Ordering appointment and is non-refundable. The session fee does not include any custom products or digital files.

What if I need to reschedule my session or it is an outdoor location and it is raining?

Your photography session will be rescheduled if it is raining. Session fees are non-refundable, however with a 48 hours notice it can be rescheduled in case of an emergency, illness, travel delay etc. and becomes a credit for future sessions for up to 1 year.

Do you sell Digital Files?

I love to print and make beautiful custom products and prints for you to enjoy. I professionally edit and Photoshop all images and files ordered so they will look there best. Depending on the image this can take up to 40 minutes in front of my computer in Photoshop to make them look fabulous. Yes, I do sell professionally Photoshop Digital Files with shared printing and sharing rights.

Can I make my own copies?

If you have purchased a fully retouched Photoshop edited Digital File with shared printing and sharing rights then yes you can. All images remain the property of Irene Thames Gardner and are protected by Federal Copyright Laws. Duplication in part or whole (whether by scanning, photographing , or reprinting) is strictly prohibited and will be prosecuted by law. This includes posting scanned or photographed images to social media websites.

Can you ship my order to me?

Yes, I can ship your order to you and will include the shipping and handling fee to your order.
